Ladies and gentleman.. In this corner.. 5 foot 10.. wearing brown trousers and a white tee.. we have Rk.....

on the other corner.. 4cm long.. weighing approx 35 gms... in green.. Mr. Hopper.

Rk closes his laptop ,mr.Hopper jumps towards the tv .. rk rushes to switch off the tv... mr.hopper skips a beat.. does a back flip and flies towards the Fluorescent Lamp. Rk turns around to switch of the lamp.. picks up a umbrella and tries to whack mr.hopper.. mr hopper sees light in the other room.. mr.hopper flies over the table and touches down on the lamp across the hall.. Rk looks at him and grins.. "I win !!"

yup, thats the first of (not) many .. the fight for the possession of my room with mr.hopper.

I share a flat with 1 more person. He's an irish. Has a PS3 but i have rarely seen him play it. Coming back to my room.. it a very simple room 14 steps (heel -2- heel) long and 14 steps across.. the loo is just as big as Reva (yes the car).The food here is another enjoyment.

1 started with this...

yah.. i had to wash the dishes.. clean the plates.. and make sure the tiffin gets returned the next day. .. hard work aint it.... nope its not... hard work is eating it..

half boiled rice.. the dal.. is water with ..... ah..... with ..... wait.... ah... that.... noh.... its.... ahh.... hmmm yah,,,, its water... did i say tht.....

well next comes is this..

its from a pretty good restau.. pretty nicely packed... dal and vegetable sabzi in a kulad.. so kinda cool... food also tastes pretty good.there was just 1 issue.. the price is a little too low to deliver.. so now wat... well i reasoned with the guy... "bhai, im alone.. how much more can i order to eat.. so send me this... " well it worked.. he delivers to me.. ^ - ^

now the problem was calling up everyday for the dinner to arrive.. was kinda too much... so i came to this...

this vendor.. is way better.. he knows the south indians requirement.. so this persons breakfast includes IDLY... yah... something i might want to eat .. his food is kinda better than my previous options and reasonable..

food is settled.. what about water... heres the solution...

yah loads of it.. just got to knw when to buy water for the next day or two ....

this is a start..

now its all me.. i got to take care of everything.. from clothes getting washed... to the untimely rain that might leave the clothes wet.. so next week No formals ?? ahhh .. timing is everything....

one thing i have begun to appreciate is Fruit.. yah.. fruit.. which i rarely ate.. im making sure i eat 1.. everyday... not just apple.. but almost any fruit i can get my hands on... you might not know its importance.. but im a a person who loves spicy food way too much... eating over the top tasteless food is gonna leave u hungry and sick...

so that is settled..

the atmosphere here is quite calm... besides the extra protection in every house-doors and windows.... so that you dont lose anything that was hanging outside.. this place is quite safe.. the people here are quite friendly.. Hindi is like a boon here.. rarely you will need english.. hindi is more than enough... if some1 like me..who takes time.. or no interest to learn any new language.. (yah like the 1 back home).. this place is not that much of a problem. its a simple concept.. be polite.. speak freely.. and wala.. its done...

the cold war is going on... taking one step at a time... either with the food or the room or anything unexpected... lets see how it goes.. GAME ON !
