The Legend of RK : A Walk Through Time

The Sequal to The Legend of Rk : The Sighting.
                                                                     -       Venkat

" Time " - a topic that has caught man's imagination  ever since he developed the ability to think .and one which the  greatest minds have written countless poems and verses on .

When Einstein proposed the theory of relativity , its implication in science was of a very great magnitude. The surprising part is its application to the simple things in life  :   ""How long a minute is, depends on which side of the bathroom door you're on.  " -Zall's second law.
So, its essential that we remember that time does fly, but we are the pilots.

For the fact will always remain that :  "The whole life of man is but a point of time; Its upto us to make the most of it."
Most people spend a large part of their life complaining about the lack of time. But thats such a futile exercise that people should refrain from:    "Nothing is as far away as one minute ago." - Jim Bishop
"Regret for wasted time is more wasted time." - Mason Cooley

So, we ve got to learn to be efficient even when pressed for time : “To achieve great things, two things are needed; a plan, and not quite enough time.”

And then there are some who would wish time froze for a bit - "Time is a great healer,  but a poor beautician". -Louis Berloiz.
"Time and tide wait for no man. But it stands still for a woman at 30" - Robert Frost.

The answer to which already lies within our life:
“We all have our time machines. Some take us back, they're called memories. Some take us forward, they're called dreams.”

In the grand scheme of things , to call our livetime as even  miniscule would be a massive exaggeration.
“Don’t count the number of hours  in a day, make each of those hours count.”

As a person who had a very good understanding of this phenomenon, i was obviously hooked-on when i heard myths about this creature's lifespan being long enough to be visible in the eternal timeline. There were even whispers about him being immortal. "The bad thing about immortality is that you run out of things to do " -Mxyzptlk ( from DC comics)

...... Exaggeration or not , i was prepared to dedicate my time to finding the truth. ( for sometimes ive seen some unexplainable things and sometimes i've done some things i can't quite explain). You know its like the first time you see anti-gravity.... feels like your eyes are deceiving you and its just  a trick that the mind's playing. So , i started carefully observing this creature and had several personal encounters with it in my quest to understand it better. I had documented most of my observations. Here's a few :

Nov 12 ,2002  11:32 AM -> It seems to follow trance like movements to music , and it seems to be very agile. Must ve evolved this agility  to survive the predators during the triassic..During the routine, it suddenly disappeared into thin air. I was flabergasted at that sight , just to see it re-appear. I had always wondered how a being whose strength could not really rival a 2 day old squirrel , survive for so long.Only then did the reality dawn upon me ,  The one that i perceived as a vanishing act was just me standing completely perpendicular to its side. Its sturucture almost completely lacks the 3rd dimension (width) which resulted in the ultimate defense mechanism to survive the apex predators such as the t-rex ,the sabertooths and more recently the humans. The movements it exhibited were fascinating to say the least.... its almost like you were watching all the cultures throughout human history being played out in front you in a hybrid form ( like hitler doing the salsa , a neanderthal(caveman) on 'dancing with the stars' , achilles in a rain dance  with indira gandhi running around trees.........)

Towards the end of the trance , it shedded its apparel and threw it into the crowd.... something  which has puzzled me till this day. I've come up with quite a few explanations , including a few ridiculous ones like it could an attempt to double bluff the predator by displaying an aggresive behaviour , whereas if the predator just saw what was actually inside , it would ve been upto a paleontologist to study it rather than me . But after careful delibration , the one i finally zeroed on is that it could possibly be an attempt to lure a mate.. did not work on the human females though... ( its like a frog croaking or a croc rubbing against your back..it might work for their species, but for humans its just plain freaky!!! ).

Sep 24, 2007  7:14 AM  We ve always noticed that certain animals have an affinity towards certain objects...like a moth was always attracted by light , dogs to bones etc. We cant quite understand their behavior or actions.I have come along with the  test subject to a remote location and one of the guys was looking for the toothpaste. We were not able to locate it and then ........ ehh..... hmm , how do i put this....... ahhhh , lets move on!!!!
 * wish i could erase certain parts of my memory , THE HORROR ,.... THE HORROR!!!!!!!! *

Feb 3, 2010 1:11 PM -> A young explorer MPR has made a startling discovery .
In relation to  my observations dated NOV 12 , 2002, she just published a paper to rival my theory... It's called : " Whats a gun without bullets " .

As i got deeper into my research , i made some amazing discoveries and at the same time started gettin a new found respect for his creature....

Shall be continued in the next part :
" The Legend of RK : All GOOD things come to an end, but i ve found an exception " :)
